Military
1973 - Boot Camp San Diego Ca. then to infantry training school, and assigned to 1st battalion 1st Marines.
1974-1975 - Camp Hansen Okinawa with 2nd battalion, 4th Marines. Participated in Operations Eagle Pull and Frequent Wind, these were the evacuations of citizens from Saigon Vietnam and Pnom Phen Cambodia, also assisted in the rescue of the container ship Mayaquez.

1975-1979- Stationed at Camp Lejeune NC with 3rd battalion 2nd Marines.
1979-1982 - Stationed at Marine Barracks Yokosuka Japan.
1982-1985 - Stationed at Camp Lejeune NC with 1st battalion 8th Marines. Wounded October 23, 1983 when a suicide driver drove a truck bomb into the Marine Headquarters. I suffered severe leg wound which forced me to be medically retired Nov. 1985
